Toronto FC Linked With Two Top Serie A Players

There has been a lot of rumours surrounding Major League Soccer team Toronto FC. There have been reports linking players to leave the team and reports linking others to join. Part of the rumours have been that Barcelona have made an offer for the Italian international Sebastian Giovinco and that Jason Kreis is going to  become the next manager after he got sacked by New York City FC.
Other rumours say that the Azzurri teammates Andrea Barzagli and Daniele De Rossi will come to Toronto FC. These reports come from calciomercato which is a Italian news site. Toronto is trying to fix their weaknesses by bringing some Italian players, and to get them they might have to go to Italy.
Andrea Barzagli is a player of Italian club Juventus, who are runner up’s in the Champions League. He always has been a top class centre-back in the Serie A. The Italian international has a contract with Juventus that expires this summer. If Juventus want to profit at least something, they might be willing to sell him.
The 34-year-old is know to get injured. Last year he played only in ten fixtures and it looks like his age is catching up with him.
The other player is Daniele De Rossi. The AS Roma defensive midfielder will be harder to buy. De Rossi is 32 years-old, but for him age is just a number, he still has a few more years in him. He has a contract until summer of 2017 and is still very important for the Roma lineup.
These rumours may be a little to hard to believe but if they come true it would be a huge boost for the MLS side. Having a player like Barzagli in the team will solve the back line problems they have been having. De Rossi will be perfect for Toronto, his ability to find the right player and his passes, will help the team a lot.
